The ReplyRouter Setup Guide: 3 Ways to Connect

At ReplyRouter, we make it easy to bridge the gap between your automated "no-reply" emails and your real human teams. Whether you are a scrappy startup or an enterprise giant like British Airways, we have a connection method that fits your technical requirements.

Choose your connection method

Method 1

Instant Forwarding (Fast-Track)

Best for: small teams or no DNS access.

Setup time: 2 minutes.

  1. Generate your bridge address: Go to your ReplyRouter dashboard and copy your unique {{userId}}@replyrouter.ai address.
  2. Add a forwarding rule: Gmail: Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Add a forwarding address. Outlook: Settings > Mail > Forwarding > Enable forwarding.
  3. Verify: We send a test email. Once it hits our bridge, your account is active.

Method 2

Professional Subdomain

Best for: established SaaS companies and growing teams.

Setup time: 10 minutes (DNS access required).

  1. Choose your subdomain: Enter your desired name (e.g., replies or inbox) in your dashboard.
  2. Update DNS: Add a new MX record.
    Type: MX
Host: inbox (or your chosen subdomain)
    Value: inbound.postmarkapp.com
    Priority: 10
  3. Verify: Click "Check DNS" in your dashboard. Once verified, all mail sent to anything@inbox.yourcompany.com is processed by ReplyRouter AI.

Method 3

Enterprise Verified Domain

Best for: large corporations and high-security organizations.

Setup time: 20 minutes (IT involvement).

  1. Enter your root domain: Add yourcompany.com to ReplyRouter settings.
  2. Add authentication records: Configure SPF and DKIM to prevent spoofing.
    SPF (TXT): v=spf1 include:spf.mtasv.net ~all
DKIM (TXT): Copy the unique key provided in your dashboard.
  3. Global routing: Set your "Reply-To" address in campaigns to your verified ReplyRouter address.
